This text serves as an excellent overview of the forensic science field, and could serve very well as an introductory or intermediate level textbook. It was only lacking one thing that would be of value to making it a perfect instructional choice, and that is, labs. Hopefully, the authors are putting together an accompanying lab book! The chapter summaries, review material (vocab, primarily), and review questions are impeccable, and the references and further reading are exemplary.I am very happy with my purchase, and when we are ready to upgrade our forensic science textbooks (very soon, I hope!), I would go with this text without hesitation. Please, just prepare a lab book!
This product is made poorly. A construction defect causes the pages to pull out. This is not the quality I would expect from a product like this.
This is an awesome book for those who have interest in forensics. It covers quite a lot of different materials.
I bought this book because I needed forensic information for a novel I was writing and it came in quite handy. I found all of the information I needed.
I got this for a Master's class that I'm taking. It seems well written and very thorough on it's explanations. I wish it would have more detailed photos to accompany the text however. Still an informative read.
It came before it was supposed to and is in good shape.
Had to order this book for school and It was very interesting
This is an edited version, which means some of the chapters were cut down but they left the questions about the removed info. Doesn't help when you are using this as your textbook!
