I've read several of John Tighe's books, and I think I like this one best. It's short, simple, and easy to read. I don't think there's anything really new here, but the information is presented well. Some of it is possibly over-hyped, like saying a published author can make $10,000, $20,000, or even $50,000 speaking. I don't think that's possible for most writer's - unless you've got one hell of a platform.That said, there is a lot of useful information packed in this 93 page volume. It's a great starting point for new and experienced authors who are trying to figure out what's next. How do I make a living in this crazy business?I got the book for 99 cents but even if you have to pay four or five dollars, you're going to get enough good, usable ideas to make your money back several times over.My thought is buy this book as a jumping off point. Use it to get ideas, then move on to other books that cover the topics you're interested in more detail. Just remember, writing is a process. Every day, and every book, brings you a little closer to your end point. You're end goal as an author is to hang in there, and complete the journey.

Very good advice with specific information. The focus on making more money from your Kindle book is very helpful. There were several places in the book where he repeats himself, but it was mostly for emphasis. His information is correct. I have been in the publishing industry and have been studying Kindle and other online business ideas for a few years now. Definitely a good value. I highly recommend buying and reading it.
I had just finished the first draft of my first book and was researching how to publish on Kindle when I found this modestly priced book. With the exception of a few sections where the author repeats himself a little more than I would like, this is a succinct treatment that flows well and doesn't waste your time. It was good to know my book, at 21,000+ words, was right in the sweet spot. The author also provides names and links to valuable resources.You'll see a lot of promotional books and videos which tease you with the possibility of making $10,000 a month or more on Amazon/Kindle. Interestingly, one of these YouTube Kindle experts doesn't even sell his own books on Kindle. I appreciate that this author does. He's also honest about the fact that success may not come overnight.In a past career I was an editor for a national magazine and a reporter for a local newspaper and regional business magazine, so writing is not difficult for me. It took me around a month to write the book and my interest is purely mercenary - I want it to make money. This book is perfectly focused on that objective, so thank you John!

John Tighe is a master on getting Kindle books published that generate leads and drive new revenue for entrepreneurs. It's a great step-by-step, how-to guide to make money from non-fiction Kindle books that delivers!
While I generally found this book helpful and informative, I thought it spent way too much time on author's personal hype. Has some valuable insights.
I am writing my first book using KDP and I have found John Tighe's books to be an invaluable source of information. My learning style is somewhat "old school" and I like to have step-by-step procedures to follow when it comes to setting up the book information via the KDP site. John's book is the closest to that style of instruction you can get given the fact that all websites are continuously changing to add new features.I look forward to buying your other books and learning how to become a successful author using KDP.
